• Standard badges: Up to 8 inches in any direction

 

• Larger than 8 inches: Custom quote required (contact us BEFORE ordering)

If you order a badge over 8 inches without contacting us first, additional payment MAY be required but not always necessary. Just reach out to be sure just in case 😎

🧱 MATERIALS & DURABILITY

 

 

• Premium acrylic (approx. 17× stronger than glass)

 

• We do NOT offer metal or real carbon fiber

• Carbon fiber designs are high-quality printed patterns, not real weave

⭐ Our Engraved Series is our most durable and longest-lasting option

We do not make 3-D badges or 3-D printed badges. Some designs can have a dual layer where we stack acrylic on top of a base acrylic to create a stacked layered look but we do not create actual 3-D printed Badges as 3-D printing is typically lower resolution, and we strive to only create the best of the best. Badges are all typically one layer with no depth. We do have some badges that can be a layered acrylic design, depending on the design, such as stacking some numbers/letters on top, But that depends solely on the design and it’s not possible for every design as typically everything will be one layer  

Because all badges are made from flat acrylic:

 

• No beveled or angled surfaces — all faces remain flat

 

• Layered (stacked) acrylic is sometimes possible depending on the design and size — all edges will still be flat; no bevels or angled surfaces, as lasers cut straight down only.

 

• No real chrome finishes — chrome effects are simulated using gradients and gloss

If you’re unsure how your design will translate, feel free to ask before placing the order.

 

• Standard vs Ultra Gloss Finishes

Both our standard badges and Ultra Gloss badges use the same base materials and overall manufacturing process. The main difference is how the design is layered.

 

Standard badges are made on solid black acrylic, with the design applied to the surface. On certain eligible designs, this may allow for specialty surface effects such as spot texturing.

 

Ultra Gloss badges use clear acrylic instead of black acrylic, with the design placed underneath the clear layer. This creates a deeper, glass like shine, but it also means surface effects such as spot texturing cannot be added.

 

Ultra Gloss is not standard and will only be used if specifically requested by the customer. It is also design specific, so customers must ask during the order process to confirm if it is possible. In some cases, Ultra Gloss may increase the cost.

 

All customer renderings will specify whether the badge is being made as standard or Ultra Gloss before production.

MOST customers choose standard finish over the ultra gloss

🧲 MOUNTING & INSTALLATION (PLEASE READ)

All badges include complimentary 3M automotive adhesive for flat surfaces.

 

 

⚠️ IMPORTANT:

 

• Badges do NOT bend or conform to curved surfaces
• Surface MUST be flat!!! 🚨
• If your badge needs to fit into a cavity, slot, or recess, you MUST notify us before ordering
• 🚨 Orders cannot be refunded so please understand the above instructions 🚨 

 

 Failure to disclose fitment requirements may result in installation issues.

📌 PROOF APPROVAL POLICY (VERY IMPORTANT)

 

• You will receive a digital proof

 

• Please reply within 7 days with approval or changes

 

To keep production moving:

 

• Reminder emails/texts are sent after 7 days
• After 14 days of no response, we may proceed with shipping the most recent proof  (we’ve never had to do this but we have this policy in place in the event of no contact) 

 

 

Once a design is approved (or moved forward due to non-response), changes are no longer possible.

While many OEM badges appear metallic, most are actually injection-molded plastic. We use premium cast, extruded, and mirror acrylic to achieve superior clarity, depth, and durability — while allowing true one-off customization.

 

We invested in American-made industrial laser systems valued over $100,000 each, not low-cost imported machines.

 

This allows for:

• Ultra-precise cuts

• Clean, professional edges

• Tight tolerances

• Consistent quality

 

Our signature engraving style cannot be replicated on cheaper equipment — which is why copycat badges often look rough or pixelated up close.

I understand that my order is custom-made, non-refundable once placed, and that design work begins immediately. I acknowledge that Forged Concepts has fulfilled hundreds of thousands of orders across all 50 states and over 30 countries, with only a very small number of refund requests. 

 

Bundle Pricing Notice

Additional badges can be added after purchase, whether it’s the same or a different design, but bundle pricing only applies at checkout, so any add ons are priced separately.

Example: If a customer orders 2 badges and later decides they want 2 more, the additional badges are processed as a separate/new order and do not continue the original bundle discount pricing. Add ons placed later are priced based on the current pricing/sales available at the time the new order is placed.

To receive bundle pricing, all badges must be included together in the same order before checkout. Once an order has already been placed, there is no way for us to retroactively apply bundle pricing, merge pricing tiers, or manually continue previous discounts onto future/additional orders.
